Life-Changing Moment at Barber Academy of Orlando!

YouTube Barber Academy Founder Gives Back to Aspiring Barbers With the "Barber Tuition Initiative"

Eddie, founder of the YouTube Barber Academy, is using his platform of over 170,000 subscribers to make a meaningful impact in the lives of aspiring barbers. What began as a resource to help his students during his 10+ years as a barber instructor has grown into a powerful tool for education and opportunity.
"Over the years, I saw so many talented students who had the potential to do big things in this industry," Eddie said. "But many of them were juggling two jobs, raising kids, and struggling to afford tuition. The financial burden became too much, and they had to drop out."
It was a reality Eddie never forgot — and one he always wished he could change.
Now, thanks to the support of generous sponsors, Eddie is turning that wish into action. The YouTube Barber Academy will begin offering tuition assistance to students in need, stepping in before financial hardship forces them to give up on their dreams.
"This has been one of my biggest goals," Eddie shared. "To finally be able to help those students before it's too late — it means everything."

As Nashville Street Barbers our goal is to empower our neighbors in need, to stand taller, stand prouder, and to feel as though there is no difference amongst us all.

We do this by bringing together a community of Barbers and Cosmetologist on a weekly basis to utilize our skills on our neighbors, expecting nothing but a smile for payment!

Determined to successfully navigate treatment and access any resources available to her as a cancer patient, Mary Jenkins heard stories of the emotional and financial hardships that people experienced while going through treatment and quickly came to the conclusion that there were simply no cancer organizations that helped patients to the extent that they so desperately needed.

While in active treatment for Stage III almost Stage IV Breast Cancer, Ms. Jenkins founded the COC in October of 2006; an IRS recognized faith-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization - purposed to help cancer patients SUCCEED on their ROAD TO RECOVERY through Awareness, Emotional Support and Financial Relief Services.
